Pan Card (Permanent Account Number) is a 10 digit alphanumeric plastic laminated card that issued by Indian income Tax department. Anybody can apply for a pan card in india. to apply for a pan card there is no age restrictions and no qualification is required. all age's and educated and uneducated people anybody can apply for it. You can submit application for an underage or new born's even, but the applications must be signed by parent or grandparent. Pan card is used to be an identity card and as a proof of document for all banks and mobile number registration, and gas etc. An example pan card number is looks like this APUPD9842J
Charges to apply for a new pan card in online is 96 inr. You can pay the amount using Credit cards/Debit cards, And Net-Banking , Fill the application and pay the fee using your preferred method. once your application and payment successfully made through online, you will see a acknowledgement, You are required to send your proof of indentity & address proof along with the acknowledgement to NSDL By courier or post. after they receive your documents, you will get your pan card to your home address.

1.Visit https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/pan/
2.Click the New pan for indian citizan's (Form 49A)
3.You will see a popup window open's , now click "Online application for new pan (Form 40A)
4. Scroll down to the bottom of page and select Individuals and click select.
5. Fill all the requirements in the form and submit, if you are having doubts in filling the form click Instructions
After you have completed filling the form you need to complete the payment and then send your acknowledgement along with your identity and proofs by post to NSDL, You will receive your pan card to your home by his/her name that applied for pan card.
