Opening an account with paypal is free and easy process. First you need a new email address, create your email address at gmail.com . Do not share your email address with anyone for the security reasons.
Visit www.paypal.com choose which type of account is suitable for your business. Paypal offers three types of accounts business, personal, premium.
Fill signup form with paypal.
1.You need to give your full name, and Date of birth (DOB), your mobile number, your pan card number (10 Digits).
2.Once you have signed up with paypal , you will receive a confirmation email. go to your email id that you
used to signup with paypal. and click paypal confirmation email and verify your email, done ? now you are a member of paypal
3.Login to your paypal account and click add bank account at right side. Enter your bank details and submit. once you submit your bank details, paypal will send to you bank account 2 mini amounts such as 1.20INR , 1.18INR, this process will take upto 7 days. Check your bank account statement and collect those 2 mini amounts.
4. Login to your paypal account and click verify bank account, you will see two boxes there, enter those 2 mini amounts that you received in those 2 boxes and submit, now your bank account is verified and your are eligible to receive payments to your bank directly from paypal.
5. To receive payments from any website or from any person to your paypal account , you just need to give them your paypal account email.
Remember: this process only to receive payments , but not to send payments. if you want to send payments please read bellow.
According to the RBI regulations indian's are not allowed to send payments indian to indian. But an indian resident is allowed to send payments to any country.
To send payments from your paypal account, you need a Credit card (Not debit cards). Paypal accepts all banks credit cards For example: ICICI, SBH, AXIS, HDFC,
Getting credit card is easy, you can get credit card with 20,000inr deposit from ICICI Bank and you can link it to your paypal account.
You need to enter your credit card number in your paypal account, paypal will take small amount which is refundable 1.98$ to verify your credit card. the amount will be re-added with in 2-3 days to your credit card balance by paypal. Once your credit card is verified with paypal. you can send payments to any country in 190 country's where paypal is available.
